Louis Littman, MD, PhD
Psychiatrist
Dr. Louis Littman graduated summa cum laude from Temple University with a BA in biology and a minor in physics. He received his PhD in pharmacology and his MD from University of Pennsylvania in 1999. During residency at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Littman was awarded the Laughlin Fellowship, an honor granted to the top 12 residents in psychiatry in the country. Upon completing residency, Dr. Littman worked in community mental health and student mental health. He started his full time private practice at his current location in 2004. As a board certified psychiatrist, he specializes in complex pharmacology for the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders and ADHD. When working with his patients he combines his extensive medical and pharmacological knowledge with his understanding of psychological and social factors to treat his patients as whole people. He strives to work collaboratively with his patients and their treatment teams, including their therapists and other medical providers.
Dr. Littman was an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Pennsylvania for ten years. He has also been on the speakers bureaus for several pharmaceutical companies and has done volunteer speaking engagements for various community groups, including DBSA-NJ and NAMI. Dr. Littman has published articles on the treatment of bipolar disorder as well as on neurochemistry and neuropharmacology. As a member of Sigma Pi Sigma, the national physics honors society, he participates yearly in the Adopt a Physicist Program where he demonstrates to high school students the important role of physics in psychiatry. He was first introduced to TMS during his residency and has now combined his physics background from college and his neuroscience graduate school education to expand his current thriving practice to include TMS. He is currently a member of the Clinical TMS Society. He has treated patients with TMS since 2017. In his spare time he trains in karate and is a fifth degree black belt.
Suzanne Datto
TMS Technician
Suzanne Datto graduated summa cum laude from Johns Hopkins University with a BA in biology and a minor in psychology in 1994. She worked in clinical research on the STEP-Bipolar Disorder project and published articles in the field of mood disorders. She has lectured on neuropathology at Drexel Medical School and University of Pennsylvania as well as given talks to various support groups. She has presented data on TMS to the Clinical TMS Society. She has worked with Dr Littman for over 20 years and also trains in karate with Dr Littman as a fourth degree black belt.
